The 3T Summit: Teaching, Textbooks, and Technology is a face-to-face event exploring the role of these three areas in English language teaching (ELT). Participants will explore how digital tools and traditional methods can be used effectively to support language learning.
Presentations will highlight practical classroom applications, the use of digital tools (including AI), teaching theory and research, materials development, and educational publishing. The event also welcomes authors, publishers, and EdTech developers to showcase their materials, products, and services.
3Tサミット:教育・教科書・テクノロジーは、英語教育(ELT)におけるこれら三つの分野の役割を探る対面形式のイベントです。参加者は、言語学習を支援するために、デジタルツールと従来の指導法をどのように効果的に活用できるかについて考えます。
発表では、教室での実践的な活用例、AIを含むデジタルツールの使用、教育理論と研究、教材開発、教育出版などを取り上げます。また、本イベントでは、著者、出版社、EdTech開発者が自身の教材、製品、サービスを紹介する機会も設けます。

📚 The Indy Author's Desk: Display Opportunities
The 3T Summit: Teaching, Textbooks, and Technology welcomes independent authors who wish to share their materials with language educators in Japan. Authors may reserve a desk in the display area to showcase their textbooks and interact with participants. As autumn is a key season for teachers selecting materials for the coming academic year, the summit provides an excellent opportunity to introduce new resources. Authors are also encouraged to submit a presentation proposal. Please note that direct sales are not permitted.

Materials Writers Special Interest Group
The Materials Writers SIG (MW SIG) was established for the purpose of helping members to turn fresh teaching ideas into useful classroom materials. We try to be a mutual assistance network, offering information regarding copyright law, sharing practical advice on publishing practices, including self-publication, and suggesting ways to create better language learning materials for general consumption or for individual classroom use.
教材開発研究部会 (MW SIG) は、メンバーが日々の教育の場で得た新しいアイディアを教材にしていく助けとなることを目的に設立されました。著作権に関すること、自費出版を含めた出版に関する実践的なアドバイス、広く一般学習者または特定の授業のためにどうしたらより良い語学教材が作れるか、といったことに関するアイディアを共有しお互いを高め合える部会であることが願いです。教材開発についてもっと知りたい、自分のアイディアを形にしたいという方、入会大歓迎です。一緒に活動しませんか 。
